Pompey reserves and youth coverage

The Pompey reserves, and in particular from my point of view, the youth sides are something that I am hoping Vital Pompey can follow closer this season.

With the release of the youth fixtures on Friday this reminded me of something that I am hoping we can do this season for both the future of Pompey and the 2nd string.

If I lived locally I would do my utmost to go to all home games for Pompey at all levels, as it is ressies and youth games are things I miss out on - and cannot afford the time or costs, financially and physically, to go to these as well - but hopefully others that do can share with us what they are like so we do not have to rely on official publications, which, with respect can sometimes give a more 'rosy tint' than they should...

So, my question to you, the Vital Pompey readers, is this.

Is there anyone that will be going to most, if not all reserve and/or youth games this season? If so would you be willing to write match reports that we can publish for you, for us all on Vital Pompey?

If you can answer yes to some, or all of this can you drop me an email to let me know on this email addy - portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk.

Might be able to get Youth Team reports but reserves more of a problem.

Would be great if Vital could cover these too as the 'official reports' are sometimes a bit hit and miss and more often that not always late... But as for me I'm in the same boat as you Rug. But hopefully somebody will be able to pick this up.

We have finally put 2 wins together, despite not playing as well as we could. Heads would have dropped when Pitman was ruled out but we have become even more clinical in front of goal.
