Change - not major, but a change!

Change - not major, but a change!

Right guys,

Vital Pompey has undergone a 'slight makeover' - just a little nip and tuck here and there to give it a sleeker, more chic, no, not Chix, look.

Of course I know some do not like change, that is why there is not a lot of change but it gives it that sleeker more modern look and this will - in time - give us more scope for more things on this network...

PLEASE NOTE:

To begin with we might have a few 'teething problems', mainly in the forum, with 'bugs....new attachments getting super-sized but that's about it I think,' is what I am told. Avatars, or our forum images if you will, might play up too? They are not lost though!

A few other minor changes will occur in time, but these are things that can be ironed out seamlessly shortly so no need to hold back on the rolling out of this as we 'sheikh' things up...

If you experience any problems give me a shout, click the envelope, but we hope that you enjoy the slightly modified Vital Pompey!

So, let us know what you think - thoughts on the change are welcomed, we are thick skinned so can take views that are not so kind...within reason...

Also, and this is totally unrelated, the Vital Football Network has been experiencing some problems - it looks like someone has attempted to hinder this networks progress perhaps, engineers are working on this and it is hoped that 'most' issues being experienced are not actually affecting you guys anyway, more our actions behind the scenes.

The new format is great, the old one was getting a bit tired and f***ed. [Edited by rug]

the language filter is proving an issue, hence the amount of 'edited by rug' messages appearing :-)

its not major, so many might not, which isnt a bad thing... some issues that need ironing out - but they will be put right.

MFFP, some might take a couple of days to change - that might be why tony hasnt noticed it...

Me too MFFP. When I logged on at home yesterday evening it was new and looked great. This morning at work it looks just as always?? That was a brief trial!

it has changed, like i say some computers might take longer than others for this to happen with, something to do with 'cache', some werent working on mine so i was told to press (at the same time!) Ctrl + F5 and it changed things...you 'could' try that or just wait for nature to take its toll :-)

No Crawley return for Tubbs

Tubbs doesn't have a future at Pompey, he's on the transfer-list but offloading him could be difficult given his wages. These wouldn't be anywhere within Crawley's reach.

Pitfalls of Sheffield Wednesday loanee returning

As Catlin put it 'the gamble' of aiming sign Sheffield Wednesday loanee Lavery has to be one Pompey fans understand. It isn't as cut and dried as saying 'he's a free agent' sign him!

Lassie coming home...well sort of!

A-box-to-box player, capable of defensive duties, with ability to burst forward with intent to make things happen - Diarra is Pompey's man and wants an England return. I jest of course!

Will pair stay at Fratton?

It's been made (more than once) clear by Catlin Pompey want Davies & Hollands to stay. Both (also more than once) have said they want to this - deals have to be right for all concerned.
