'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Change - not major, but a change!

Right guys,

Vital Pompey has undergone a 'slight makeover' - just a little nip and tuck here and there to give it a sleeker, more chic, no, not Chix, look.

Of course I know some do not like change, that is why there is not a lot of change but it gives it that sleeker more modern look and this will - in time - give us more scope for more things on this network...

To begin with we might have a few 'teething problems', mainly in the forum, with ' attachments getting super-sized but that's about it I think,' is what I am told. Avatars, or our forum images if you will, might play up too? They are not lost though!

A few other minor changes will occur in time, but these are things that can be ironed out seamlessly shortly so no need to hold back on the rolling out of this as we 'sheikh' things up...

If you experience any problems give me a shout, click the envelope, but we hope that you enjoy the slightly modified Vital Pompey!

So, let us know what you think - thoughts on the change are welcomed, we are thick skinned so can take views that are not so kind...within reason...

Also, and this is totally unrelated, the Vital Football Network has been experiencing some problems - it looks like someone has attempted to hinder this networks progress perhaps, engineers are working on this and it is hoped that 'most' issues being experienced are not actually affecting you guys anyway, more our actions behind the scenes.

The new format is great, the old one was getting a bit tired and f***ed. [Edited by rug]
the language filter is proving an issue, hence the amount of 'edited by rug' messages appearing :-)
Looks great! im sure we will all get the hang of it very soon :)
I can't actually see any difference but you know what my eyesight is like
its not major, so many might not, which isnt a bad thing... some issues that need ironing out - but they will be put right.
Looking good.
Mine is exactly the same?
MFFP, some might take a couple of days to change - that might be why tony hasnt noticed it...
Me too MFFP. When I logged on at home yesterday evening it was new and looked great. This morning at work it looks just as always?? That was a brief trial!
it has changed, like i say some computers might take longer than others for this to happen with, something to do with 'cache', some werent working on mine so i was told to press (at the same time!) Ctrl + F5 and it changed 'could' try that or just wait for nature to take its toll :-)
Until I read Change - not major, but a change!...I didn't realise it had changed. Looked again, and it hasn't. Never mind I'm sure it will happen.
So.....this is going to take a bit of time to get used to I I'm in unfamiliar surroundings...HELP!!
comments certainly stand out from each other much better this way methinks...
I have seen the new set up at home and looks good. At work old set up. Tried Ctrl + F5 and no change never mind as cotny says it will happen zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............................
Wait twenty minutes and it is now working. Nice fresh feeling and thanks to all the tech staff at Vital for their hard work.
It's working now. Looking very good.
Must say I did have a 'WTF?!?' moment when I first logged-on but I like it :) The only problem is that I was greeted by a video of old Slobber Chops thanks to the Virgin Sport video thing.
Well I am having to use Firefox at the moment cos my internet explorer is down, and I can't get any graphics or pictures, so I can't really see anything. However, the lilac looks very now!
Oh, My internet explorer has decided to work again. Yes, very nice, I like it. Butwhat has happened to Toast's deckchair? That was very summery.
Yes I think I like it, the lilac's nice, but then it used to be Pompey blue before. But I notice Eastneydave was a site journalist before and isn't now? Hope that doesn't mean no more Toast!
dave is still on there, you just have to scroll down the 'site journalist bar'...
I've just seen that clip that Squee was talking about of twitchy face in his spuds kit. It's not on, having that on our site! What are they going to show next, all the goals against us?
to be fair that is part of a season review video isnt it...
Well my new look Vital has finally decided to arrive. I was begining to think the drawbridge had been pulled up at the Devon/Cornwall border. I like it. Gandor/Tracy..where do you get the lilac from? mine's blue. Mind you, I could well be colour blind.
Very attractive. It looks more professional. Cheers.
