Noe keeping his options open/Fernandes links?

Pamarot weighing up his options

Whilst the next destination of Noe Pamarot remains to be seen I think it would be safe to say that the Frenchman is 'highly likely' to leave Pompey this summer.

Clubs in his homeland, such as St Etienne and Sochaux, have both shown an interest with Russian club Lokomotiv Moscow along with a few others sides including at least one reportedly from the Ukraine.

Pamarot has told sky sports that 'he is keeping his options open': 'I am at the end of my contract here at Portsmouth. There are clubs interested in me but I am just giving myself two weeks to decide my new destination.

'A return to France is a possibility. But I might go to another league. We will wait and see.'

I must admit that he has not always been my favourite player, in his first or second spells with the club, but has more often than not come in and done a job when asked - last season I did feel he was very below par though and did not do half the job he had the season before...

Whatever his next move might be I will of course wish him well and thank him for his efforts for the club, like I say though I do think it is time for a change.

Fernandes an option?

Once again, and as usual, I am not quite sure how we can be 'linked' with players when we do not have a manager but Citeh's Gelson Fernandes is being linked with Pompey.

The midfielders agent, Marcel Schmid, has admitted that he is 'unhappy about his situation' and 'wants to be playing not for 10 or 12 minutes every time. He wants to play for 90 minutes because he's that sort of player,' but this is something that does not look possible for the Swiss international with Citeh?

It is 'said' that 'at least half a dozen clubs in various countries talking to us now, but it is not at a stage where we can say there is an offer,' with these clubs linked to the 22-year-old, other than ourselves, being Bolton, Fulham, Celtic, Hamburg and Monaco.

Again though, until Dr SAF concludes his takeover of Pompey and then a manager is appointed I find it hard to know how we can be linked with players given there is no manager in place to be deciding this - and whoever might come in might not be as keen on these 'so-called' players we want as 'whoever' is deciding we do is?

Methinks it is easy for agents - although to be fair Schmid mentioned no clubs by name - and the media to link players to Pompey now though is it not?

Yes how can we be linked with players - and clubs can bid for ours but they fall into a black hole till we get our manager sorted. Still its human nature to speculate and look around to see who might suit us to come in. I note Dr SAF did what the fans wanted and appointed Hart back as Acadamy Director instead of manager - good call!

Nothing more than hot air. There's nothing more to comment on until it's all sorted with the Doc. Like Tracyc I'm glad to hear about the Hart appointment, it's the right way to go. As for Pamarot, it's time for him to move on. He's come in and done a job when needed but is way down the pecking order now.

we won't be looking to make any signings untill we have a manager, and a new owner. Having said that, Gelson fernandes could be a good signing... particually if he came alongside Manuel Fernandes.

oh, and noe has tended to be a fairly dependable back up in the even of injuries to our back 4 since he arrived, but never any better than that. And his last few apearances have been shocking.

I feel Noe may be let go when this is all sorted, & I say good luck to him never moaned & got on with his job, oh & Noe thanks for that cracking goal that set up the great win at barcodes.

We are entering a new era. new owner, new manager & many new players. The broom will sweep clean & Noe will go. He has given some good left back performances & that wonder goal at Newcastle. As for being linked with players, so who is going to pay for them??? Nothing will happen until the new men are in place!

Fernandes would be a good signing even though it's all media talk. He would put a bit of class back into the midfield and he is still very young.

I wish pamarot would go never a fan of his but when called up on he has done a job in the past he also never moans but he is starting to go *****. Fernandes would be a great signing he young great engine and tackler i certainly wouldnt say no.
