...Just one of the quotes attributed to a 'source' that The Sun claims to have in their 'I'll Sheikh up Pompey' article.
An article regarding Sulaiman Al Fahim's 'apparent' plans for Pompey...
'This is Portsmouth's wildest dream come true. The club was in a desperate financial mess but all the debt has been cleared in one huge swoop.
'This lot mean business. They have huge plans for the club and want to out-do Manchester City in the spending stakes.
'They'll transform Portsmouth into a real Premier force - the sky's the limit now.'
I think these are the kinds of things we are going to have to get used to from the likes of The Sun for the time being - they will start inevitably 'linking' us with player after player for multi-million pound amounts...
Time and patience is the key for me, keeping expectations to an acceptable limit must be the way to go. We cannot get carried away - maybe in time we will be 'a real Premier force' but this will take time, so lets not get suckered into the medias way of thinking and go overboard. Airing on the side of caution must be the way to go?
Transforming us as a club from 'top to bottom', looking at all areas of the club is wonderful to hear - doing this as a steady and gradual process would be even better, and early indications, despite 'sources' that will come out, are that this is the game plan.
My own personal goals for the immediate future were laid out in this, What a difference a day makes! - check it out and see what you think...

nope Ossie some of us still have not got over his second betrayal, trust me this is something that will be hard to forget - forget about ever forgiving - people cannot understand how much it hurt unless they have been in our position of it, i would suspect that if you took your sol campbell thing and doubled that you would be somewhere near to it...
karma comes back to work things out, and 'maybe' this is karma coming back for him, not directly to him but to show him would 'might' have been.
