Vital Fantasy Football - 'Pompey mini league'

There was no change in the Vital Fantasy Football 'Pompey mini league' in the final week as the top 3 remained as it was, meaning BlueArmyPFC is crowned the Vital Pompey Fantasy Football Mini League champion for 2008/09 with 1385pts in total!

Congratulations to him on a fine effort through the season.

This is how top 3 finished:

BlueArmyPFC, Bayou Boys and thatcham pompey all finished in the top 400 of over 3800 entries overall - in 196th, 372nd and 386 places respectively - congratulations fellas.

NOTE OF THANKS!
Thanks to all that entered this next season - hopefully you will all enter it again next season, and more!

Also, although to be fair this is not down to us to do so as this is a Vital Football run thing, I am pretty sure we will be digging deep to offer a prizes as well next time round...

'Pompey Predictions League'

On a dramatic final day, even if it was not dramatic on the pitch, in the Pompey predictions league a final day charge of 14pts, which was added to what had already been a fantastic final month charge as it was, uspompeyfan nipped in to be crowned the Pompey Prediction League Winner for 2008/09 - and with it claimed the prize of £30!...

Congratulations to uspompeyfan, with him also claiming the final manager of the month award too with a mighty impressive 30pts in May, which even included one prediction being missed altogether I believe!

uspompeyfan fan snuck in at the last to take the title - congratulations mate.
what a fantastic final month you had 30pts saw you come from nowhere to scoop it from pompeyyong who seemed the nailed on favourite and had been a long-term leader, after another previous even longer-term leader storagematt had slipped away...
thanks to everyone for entering - same again next season eh!

well played BlueArmyPFC who has been there or thereabouts for large spells, if not most, of the season - a worthy winner methinks!
again thanks to everyone for entering - again same again next season for this!

Congrats to US for an amazing finish. Gutted for Yong how has been up there all season & we had some good tussels as 1&2 for a while. Sadly I dropped out, 5th in the end, but Yong was there 'til the very end. Cruel stuff.
