Right guys this is a reminder about the new book, 'Portsmouth 'Til I Die', being written that we can be a part of - this article was first ran on Monday 27th April, but I am running it again to remind people to have their say as time is running out....
==========
You may, or may not have seen on the Pompey Site that they are looking for fans to 'share their memories'...
Well, as people have, and continue to do this right here on Vital Pompey I reckon we could have some to share - so why don't we go for it?
I reckon I will forward a memory or two that I have written, as you never know they might take some and use them - if anyone else plans to do this can you not only forward it to them but also forward it to me (portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk) for definite use on here in our 'Pompey memories' section?
For more info on this see the article, which is from the Pompey Site, below...

WE WANT YOUR MEMORIES
Were you at Wembley to see Pompey lift the FA Cup last year?
Did you see the Blues gain promotion into the Premier League?
Perhaps you were in Portugal for Pompey's first away match in a European competition? Or maybe your favourite moments are something different.
Whatever your special memories of Pompey are, we want to hear about them.
Portsmouth Football Club, along with the National Literacy Trust, is publishing a book called 'Portsmouth 'Til I Die' that will reflect on the memories of the club's supporters.
This idea has been designed to share the passion and emotion of football fans with the community, a concept which has proved very successful at many other clubs.
This is a great opportunity for Blues fan to share their amazing adventures when following their team home and away.
We want to hear from those supporters have who have travel great distances to get to games and the people who have been supporting Pompey their whole lives.
Portsmouth Football Club has teamed up with the National Literacy Trust and Legends Publishing to produce this collection of memories, which will be on sale this summer.
Funding for this project has been provided by the Department for Children, Schools and Families, the Football Foundation and the National Literacy trust.
We are also going to be sending out 600 free copies to schools, libraries and various groups within the community to encourage a whole new generation of Pompey fans, as well as arranging storytelling events that will be held at the club and areas in the community.
So whether you're young or old, send us your stories of excitement, delight or even frustration and you could read about them in this new book.
Email them to david@legendspublishing.net or www.tilidie.co.uk to send them via the website.
You can also post them to 18 Darby Crescent, Sunbury-on-Thames, TW16 5LA.
But make sure you hurry because the deadline is May 31 2009.

chixy, could you forward me me ideas - or at least point me in the right direction of these articles that i, and others, have done that you think could be best used? i can then contact people and ask them to forward these for consideration?
ive gone through my own records from the tail end of the 06/07 and 07/08 seasons and found out some that i will submit, got to look through my 08/09 records as im sure i have some more - really wanted to do my germany account, but have never got round to trying up what i wrote for this, think i will publish this over the summer, in installments as its a long account!
Hopefully quite a number of our articles will appear as the quality here is second to none.
