Lets finish on a high eh?

Sunderland come to Fratton tonight knowing that they have to win, anything less most likely will not be enough for them - given the fact that they finish with Chelski this weekend, although that said they themselves will have one eye on the FA cup final...

They have to win, we do not need this any longer as we are now safe, but if we are going to play with freedom and with a 4-4-2 formation now is the time - there is no benefit to be gained by 'playing it safe' again, we have a couple of games to go, lets have a go and end what has been a pretty miserable season on the whole on a high note.

Even with the heart of the team being ripped out, even with 'him' upping sticks and leaving us again for his own mercenary needs this squad as it is should have been more than capable of a mid table finish - the fact that this will not be the case speaks volumes for the commitment levels of too many at the club, and who they were committed to!

What they hell, throw in some of the kids, or 'fringe players' if needed, as these could well be the ones we turn to next season - in most likelihood will be turning to these, so lets give them a bit of a run out, I would even accept defeat if we had a group of committed players that are used in a formation and way that at least has a go.

The higher you finish the more money you get should be some form of incentive but we aint going to finish that much higher than we are now anyway so if we play it safe I will be livid, lets try something, even someone, different and put on a show to reward us for our support, not only in our final home game but also at the weekend for the travelling support going to Wigan!
