'If It's Football, It's Vital'

We want four!

POMPEY LOOK FOR FOUR ON THE TROT

Saturday has Pompey looking for two firsts, four Premiership wins on the bounce, and a first Premiership Fratton park win over Blackburn.

In fact we haven’t beaten Rovers at Fratton since 1990 in the old Div 1, so we are weel overdue.

Harry Redknapp will no doubt look to keep the same starting 11 once again, Stefanovic and Toddy look to have to be content with a place on the bench once again.

Midfield should be the main battle tomorrow with Savage and Tugay up against the in-form Davis and Mendes, Rovers have plenty of pace up front with Bellamy, but Pompey have Lua lua finding his goal scoring touch again and Benjani hoping to build on a much improved performance against Fulham.

We also have the added incentive of being able to climb out of the bottom three for the first time since Harry made his return.

All in all we can expect a physical match hopefully matched with skill from the likes of Lua lua and D’Allesandro, for me Bellamy can have an off-game!

Play up Pompey

Paul

Isn't Benjani out of action with an injury, not sure how bad but I did pick something up about it mid-week. Anyway if he can't score goals we will have to rely on the recent tried and true that can.

I just hope Harry doesn't get awarded "Manager on the Month" for March. That would be the kiss of death for us. Couldn't Steve Bruce & Bryan Robson share it
