All conspiracy theorists, Jonno plays!

Great news with GJ & Kaboul fit. Let's hope they last the pace. 451 again but with wing back midfielders we should create a lot. The 3 defensive middle of Davis, Hughes & Muppet won't create much. Hoping for the win but would settle for a draw.

Pretty much same old, same old, as expected. Crouch still up on his own, Mullins starting, Pennant not. But it's fab news that Johnson is back - that's got me smiling!

same old same old. With johnson in the team, we have a chance of winning, and kaboul has looked good all season. Traore played very well for the reserves - so I am dissopointed he didn't make the team, and I am slightly dissopointed pennant isn't there, BUT kaboul and johnson were so good toghether last time they played...

Right hans side looks good today, if only it were Belhadj and Traore on the left...

It looks reasonably solid, need to give it some otherwise we'll defend to deep & give them too many chances!

:( we need to stick another forward on after half time

To be fair to Jamo, the Blackburn player slid into his way, and he would have caught it otherwise. I'm sure all the media will blame him anyway, and he'll probably blame himself, but not completely his fault at all. We've got to do better than this though, we're really poor. Will Hart make changes at half time? Hope so.

No changes at HT. What the hell is Hart up to. Absolutely awful 1st half, 1 down!!! What do we do wait until we are 2 down before we bring on another forward to help Crouch!!!

Oh dear oh dear, how depressing. After Hart did make some changes we started to look a bit better - but then . . what was Herman thinking? And our first penalty in months and Utaka Quashie's it!! I can just think of one positive out of staying safe by the skin of our teeth with poor performances and bad results - it makes it less likely that Hart will get the job full time. Doesn't it?

Awfull penalty!!! May have just given us 6 or 7 mins to get the draw, who elected Utaka penalty taker anyway???

What was with Mullins shooting from 40 yards out as well, every shot he's had he's skyed over, I think he is Quashie in disguise!

Us Pompey fans are well known to be very patient for those who try hard yet don't quite succeed (Benjani). If only Mullins and Ukata would just try a lil harder.

Had a gutful of this now, if you name the same line up virtually for 3 months and play the same tired formation, surely you become a little predictable?

Got a text from Rug about 25 minutes into the match, it said"only one team looks like winning this, and they aren't wearing blue and white!" hindsight is a wonderful thing eh?

I had tickets to go with my Villa mate to Craven Cottage today (Villa were crap - only redeeming enjoyment was sleb-spotting Jimmy Hill an Alan Mullery) but it sounds like first rate entertainment compared to what was served up at Ewok Park. I can't say I'm keen to watch on Sky later as it will just make me angry. HART MUST GO AFTER WIGAN GAME

And was Belhadj really that bad that it was felt that Utaka was the answer? That sort of thing can mark a man for life.

Gotta be honest boys....seen some **** at Rovers this season but u were the worst of the lot!!!.....We are running on empty with the former MK Dons captain out of position at right back, a 39 year old chain smoker in midfield and a centre half up front!!!.....that makes u really crap for losing to us today!!!

Mani, that about sums us up, and i reckon you are being kind to us!!

09/05/2009 19:54:00

Mani, yes we're crap but it's down to the manager and his system and tactics. We have good players who can play good attractive football. Given a decent manager we'll play far better. You have a recognsed manager and he will keep you up next season but it won't be pretty. At least we have something in common at the moment.

agree with that, blackburn didnt have much to offer us, but you still had far too much for us... we might be lacking some of that quality we had at the start of the season, certainly what we had last season but still have enough to have been challenging top 10, even after the free fall we had - hart isnt the way forward, the only way would be down...
