Who is going to join us?

The offer is always there for anyone to join us at The Milton Arms prior to any Pompey game, the pub that I, Chix, eastneydave and paultsmouth, among others - usually inc. pompeyyong, sea juicer and Darren - drink at before just about every home game!

Well, with the Sunderland game - our final home game of the season - being moved to the Monday night a possible end of season gathering prior to that game would be much harder for most people, so that is a no go methinks...

So, I propose we make the Arsenal game this Saturday the 'end of season Vital Pompey gathering?'

What do you say, who is going to join us? Whoever us might be!

For those of you not familiar with the Milton Arms, it is literally 6 mins - tops - walk from Fratton Park, but to make it easier for you I have included this Google map and directions from Fratton to The Milton.

We are usually there from around 1.15pm and stay until around 2.45pm, so if we say meet from 1pm onwards?

So, all that remains to be said is who is up for this?

I will be drinking pints of beer down at St. Julians, Malta (Matt does know this place), usually being by myself as probably the only Pompey Fanatic in Malta with my girlfriend asking about Niko (she is crazy about him), how sexy Hermann is and how much she likes Distin. I wish I could be there, but we'll be all watching the same team beating Arsenals.

of course, not sure if you have seen the thread in the forum penton but some guy is offering arsenal tickets at face value 'if' miss penton - soon to be mrs penton, congratulations again - wanted to go 'maybe' you could organise tickets, if carpet wanted to go too if you got 2, maybe you and miss penton could use them - he pays you for one - and he sits in your one that you won? sounds complicated i know but in a nutshell you and your lovely wife to be sit together, carpet has yours you both pay for one, all get to go :-)

now is the 'surprise' part, the winner of the competition was never sitting alone...
as i knew someone else, someone we all know - 'this is a surprise', also wanted a ticket i organised it so i got 2, 1 went to the prize the other they had - so you, or carpet (assuming he wants a ticket and you can get the 2 of the fella?) will not be sat on their own regardless...

looks like being a good turnout, and at the moment the weather looks good - altho getting a bit windy and cold now - so fingers crossed... the bill 'might' even let us stand out the front tomorrow? altho i doubt it, altho at the same time i doubt they will mention it until around 15-20 mins before kick-off when it is pointless!
