The bleedin' woodwork has cost us some 15-20 pts!!!! Still grateful for the point last nite, reasonably confident that 38 pts is enough to survive. Though wouldn't hurt to rack up another 6-8 pts.

yep it was some way out wasnt it - at the time it was really similar to the feeling i had when up at hull and the herminators header, both seemed to be in slow motion and both seemed to be looping over, or wide in hughesies case, before you thought 'its gonna creep in!'
yep we must have lost at least 10pts due to the woodwork this season! 5 times against wigan - we lost 2-1 so thats 3pts... once at hull - we drew 0-0 so thats 5pts... im sure we hit the woodwork against hull at home too, and we draw 2-2 so i will make that 7pts... newcastle, and the draw so that makes 9pts... at arsenal, and we lost 1-0 so thats costs us a point, 10pts... what about fulham at home when we drew 1-1 we must have hit the woodwork, 12pts... you get the picture!

No Crawley return for Tubbs

Tubbs doesn't have a future at Pompey, he's on the transfer-list but offloading him could be difficult given his wages. These wouldn't be anywhere within Crawley's reach.

Pitfalls of Sheffield Wednesday loanee returning

As Catlin put it 'the gamble' of aiming sign Sheffield Wednesday loanee Lavery has to be one Pompey fans understand. It isn't as cut and dried as saying 'he's a free agent' sign him!

Lassie coming home...well sort of!

A-box-to-box player, capable of defensive duties, with ability to burst forward with intent to make things happen - Diarra is Pompey's man and wants an England return. I jest of course!

Will pair stay at Fratton?

It's been made (more than once) clear by Catlin Pompey want Davies & Hollands to stay. Both (also more than once) have said they want to this - deals have to be right for all concerned.
