VP 'in it to win it'...no.2 - winner announced!

During the first 3 weeks of April Vital Pompey has been running a competition that was giving one lucky member the chance to win a free ticket, that's right a free ticket, to the sold out Pompey v Arsenal game at Fratton on Saturday May 2nd!

Thanks to everyone that entered, and I am incredibly sorry that you could not all win... Trust me I mean this when I say this, I wish everyone could have won, people that know me best of all know how personally I take things and how much I always want to help everyone.

As it is, we all knew that only one person could win, and the lucky member to be randomly drawn, who not only amassed the required 150pts or more and correctly answered at least 7 questions right, was, drum roll... pentonpompey.

Congratulations to you, I will be in touch shortly.

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
