Pompey ratings v West Brom

What would you have rated the players, the manager and the fans out of 10 for our game at Fratton over the weekend?

Well this is what Owenspompey, who was in attendance at the weekend, has given them...

Owens .. I think you are virtually spot on .. The only things I would change would be to drop Hart to a 3 or 4 purely and simply because I (like most of us I expect) can not believe he could see what was happening and refused to change things .. His stubborness could get us relegated.. also I wouldn't give the crowd a nine .. more like a 5 or a 6 especially in the Fratton End... It was very difficult to get a song going and nobody seemed interested .... There was a couple of times during the game where the North Stand out sung the Fratton End !! - We need the drums back !! ... Saw Westwood at the very end (when about 20 people left in the Fratton End) ...and he was singing (alone) "Where's our famous atmosphere"...

Hart only seems to know one way and until he returns to his proper position we will try to grind out results and pick up a point per game. Good summing up Owens, I feel Hughes was far to deep, but expect this was his instructions from Hart, as he was back to his old self in the last 10-15 mins, & I think you may find that Traore is not fit yet.

On the crowd, I've left that subject alone for a long while, last time some said Westwood was not the only fan. Whilst I agree with this, the atmosphere has gone, and has been gone for a while!! The DRUMS are what we need! They fill in the gaps and get the next chant/song going! Only Pompey would shoot ourselves in the foot and take away the intimidation factor from the crowd! Come on Pompey, admit it's wrong and bring back teh Drums (and therefore atmosphere) to Fratton Park!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rumour has it that the drums(band) may be back next season with warnings given to ticket holders in the area so they can move if desired, but I'm not sure if this has been done for sure?

Owens .. Fair point about the reaction of the fans as to what is served up and to a degree I'm with you (I am personally more subdueed that normal) but I also think the JCL's are experiencing some hollow times and rather than get behind the team are left wandering why we aren't pushing for a top four place ;)

Great report, agreed with a lot said. Let's hope we don't look back at this game & regret the missed opportunity of 3 points! We have enough of those already. Lost it on the drawing board. Oh Mr Hart!!! What did you do?
