I have got to admit that I have not heard of the guy, but for the second time this week sky sports are 'reporting' something on an apparent Pompey target Steven N'Zonzi?
After looking around t'internet for possible videos or profiles on the 20-year-old Amiens - Ligue 2 side - midfielder I have drawn a blank, granted I did not spend ages and ages looking...
To be 'linked' with the likes of Marseille, Panathinaikos and Olympiakos he cannot be bad can he, and he himself told skysports.com that he is not disappointed to be linked with a move to Fratton: 'Portsmouth is a good team with good players and they are also in the toughest league in the world.'
Olympiakos, with their champions league status, appealed to him as well though but a move away from his native France is not a given, but from the sounds of things he is 'fairly keen' on the idea of moving overseas - but at the same time as he is only 20 he has time on his side so there is not really a rush is there?
At a time when most in the media would have you believe that 'no one would entertain the thought of coming to Pompey' it is nice to hear that some still view us as a 'good side' and are even 'flattered' to be linked with us!
He is said to be a talent, with us also said to have had him watched in recent months, with him impressing at club and youth international level for France - but has anyone seen him play that is the big question? If so how good does he look?
Another Frenchman that we continue to be linked with is that Le Mans keeper Yohan Pele - I was able to find a video or 2 of, and form this one he looks a decent keeper.
I think it was also on sky sports that we are 'fighting it out' with Newcastle for the French international, who I also believe will be a free agent in the summer, so no transfer fee involved there then...

pele looks a good keeper, but i feel someone else will get him - talk of arsenal, which if true, and as they could do with a 'quality' keeper he would probably go there...
i also feel for ashdown ruffcider, he is a good keeper but will never breakthrough here again will he as begovic for me is ahead of him, but to be fair begovic is starting to look like he could be a very good keeper.
