Pompey match day live - Stoke

Do not forget that Vital Pompey runs a 'match day live' feature where we - the fans, Pompey and Stoke of course plus any others that are interested really - get our chance to discuss the game and more, as it goes on.

This is a highly popular feature for those that are unable to make the away days and this returns with our visit to Stoke tomorrow - so who will be here with me?

Vital Pompey - Match Day Live

The article is normally published around 30 minutes prior to kick off, so be here and share your thoughts as you follow Pompey - however you are doing this...

Also, if you have not already made your predictions in the Pompey predictions league on this match do it here.

I have to wait in for a new sofa to be delivered tomorrow so I might just be around. :)

I will be here too. Writing Toast for Sunday is my away match ritual.

Nope - not going I'm afraid. Will be trying to find match on justin.tv to watch the blue blurs play the red stripey blurs and listening to the Quay online. Will find the Vital online coverage crucial.

I'm off up there tomorrow. Driving up early in the morning and staying overnight in the hotel next to the stadium (and reserved my parking space too!). Apparently, according to the hotel receptionist anyway, the hotel bar is frequented by the fans prior to the game, but I've been assured they are 'well behaved'. Pompey shirts it is then!

We're going to a ceilidh tomorrow. Ironically, we are passing through Stoke on the way, but I reckon Gill won't be too keen on a stopover

HB; I'm glad I'm not the only one who has a problem with internet tv

Might bump into you there then Gringo - I'm led to believe that the area around the Britannia is a bit of wasteland (or is that just Stoke in general?).
Squee
I will be in the Harvester which is immediately as you turn in for the stadium from about 12.30,if anyone fancies a pint or three. When we last played there,no colours were in the pub,but you can drink in the ground,in fact the britannia was my introduction to plastic Carlsberg,(probably the best plastic drinking bottles in the world !) Mind you they locked us in the compound outside the away end after the game for about 25 minutes until they had dispersed the Stoke fans. Anyway, thats the history lesson over, now let's hope for 3 points and moving back up the table. Play Up Pompey !!

And things are looking up.............. just seen on Skysports that the long throw of Delap is not going to be an issue tomorrow, cos he ain't playing. Happy days !!

I'm on myhols but will try to find out the score, may have to wait until the Sunday Papers tho!

I'll be around somewhen.. The wife is working and I have the kids but hopefuly she'll close the restuarant between 2:30 & 5:30 so I can listen to the football..
Chix
Hopefully I'll be back from the game about 6.30/7.00pm (I can't decide whether I'm fortunate or unfortunate to only live 45 miles from Stoke!) and will be happy to give Squee's thoughts on the days excitement.
Squee
Good Luck to all, a nervous 90 minutes anticipated no doubt, witha draw not a bad result for us.
