12th or 25th Whatever the Weather!

Portsmouth versus Arsenal will be played either on the 12th of April or the 25th depending on whether Arsenal progress to the semi-final.

If Arsenal are in the semi final then the game will be played on the 12th of April. Which would result in; four games in ten days for Pompey. This would be between the Blackburn at home game and the Middlesbrough at home game.

The better outcome however would be if Arsenal where to go out of the Champions league which would see the game commence on the 25th of April in between Sunderland at home and Wigan away. This seems a better option for Pompey however if the game does proceed on the 12th it would not only be a hectic few weeks for us as Arsenal will have to play six games in fifteen days!

I think it really depends how we are playing leading into the game, as to when is realy best, I mean it is Arsenal, is there ever a good time to play them?

I just hope they keep progressing in the Champions League or now that Spurs have just beaten West Brom they too can fall apart.

Come on Pompey let's make London our 2nd Home for points collection. After West Ham can we revisit the Capital and gain points at Fulham and Charlton ?

Fulham are no doubts very good at the cottage, but do you think that now they have beaten Chelsea, the crowd will have raised expectations? "oh its only Pompey" If so we need to get in to them early and get the Fans on the back foot. I fancy a pint, i mean point!

Funny I had a Greyhound called POMPEY SPURS. The Trainer was a Spurs Fan - The Bad news was it broke it's hock 1st start as favourite. And to think Old POMPEY GRAY had 187 Starts.

There is never a good time to play Arsenal or even Arsenal Reserves. That want success as much as we do for different reasons. I also want to watch Pompey play in the new Emirates stadium next year

True, but at home we have to give ourselves a chance! The more big games they have the more chance of slipping up against us we minnows. Not sure why I think that!

After we lower Fulham's colours on Saturday we will have 5 from 7 at Fratton....with visits to Charlton and Wigan. Birmingham do not feel good despite their 5-0 flogging over us. You know I sat there in the morning after that result and pondered somewhat. I said to myself are we ******* down already or is there some irony in this game. You know when the Victor gets relegated and the loser survives....think about it, who would you rather be ?

Penalty Shoot-outs and goal differences, the curse of the early nineties. Fulham claim that they will win their first away game at Sunderland. I say 0-0 (Sunderland H 0-4-12 Fulham A 0-4-13) Some things never change.
