Djimi to the Brummies!

Djimi to the Brummies!

This morning The Mirror was reporting that Djimi Traore was wanted on loan by Birmingham.

At the time, although I would not say that I did not believe it, I decided to 'wait and see' and sure enough, with the emergency loan window now open for football league clubs he has joined the promotion chasing side on loan until the end of the season - when his contract then ends, which means he will either stay with them or move on elsewhere...

Traore last played for Pompey in January of last year, and has since spent a spell on loan back in France last season.

Like they say Matt it's a team game. Ten others can carry one other; take a look at Utaka for proof!

Just Lauren to offload then and we can afford Svens Wages. AS Him, Duffy and Lauren must have been costing us a few pennies "For Sure" as 'Arry would say.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.

Main man for Pompey? I wouldn't think so

Harsh? Maybe, but do I really feel ex-Middlesbrough, Doncaster and Oldham forward Main will be in Pompey's 1st team, becoming a key member of Jackett's starting XI? Well, no.
