disppointed to see kanu start again, he should have played a part...but from the bench - i think we might have missed a trick by not starting with more pace in the shape of utaka or nugent. but hey ho!

Agree, Kanu could replace Crouch later, use Nugent/Utaka up. Need something boys. They can mess up at the back & we need to take advantage & shut up at the back. Am I expecting too much?

I can see why he has started kanu - he DID do a very good job on tuesday. I am more dissopointed not to see pele on the bench again.

Fck it. 10 man Stoke have beaten Man City. That puts them on 24pts with us. Delap red card probably means he will be suspended when we go up there in 3 weeks.

I agree with both of you .. It limits us and I can't see Kanu lasting anything longer than an hour (if that!).. Oh well In Tony we trust..

by starting with kanu we need to start strong and get ourselves in front - he 'could' have been crucial in holding onto what we 'might' have given ourselves...

shame man city did us no favours! oh, and chix - I would say that we would change centre forwards after an hour anyway.

utaka or nugent would have lasted longer than an hour surely? i am happy we have gone 4-4-2 tho, thats a real bonus!

We know Danny you want to stay!

In case we had forgot Hollands has reminded us of his desire to stay with Pompey! I'm not 'desperate' either way in many ways but sorting this quickly would be best for all concerned.

Three more pre-season games announced

'Glamour ties' are loved but pre-season is about fitness and form so it doesn't matter if it's Barcelona or Bognor... Then again a trip to the Nou Camp wouldn't be turned down!

Sheffield United loanee open to Pompey return

McNulty would welcome a permanent transfer to Pompey. Although the Sheffield United striker could well be part of new manager Wilder's plans, so the chances seem 50:50 at best?
