New date for Citeh game revealed

A new date for the recently cancelled Citeh game has been revealed - and this will be a 3pm kick off on a Saturday, unfortunately this is able to be the case due to our exit in the FA cup...

The game, which was of course called off before due to a frozen pitch, will be played on Saturday 14th February.

Hopefully they will get some injuries before the game, maybe if they do we will have a small chance of doing O.K!!

Dammit - I had my VIP tickets changed to the Everton home game, because I wanted a 3pm kick off (for alcohol abuse purposes) and I thought it'd be rescheduled for midweek - I hope I can change them back!!

Did we get fined for the cancelled fixture?

Don't think so Nodster - There was a lot of fuss about us not have the 'suggested' requirements for under soil heating etc.. but I think it was deemed that we had taken all reasonable actions to ensure we did our best to try and get the pitch into a playable state..

As for the date... At least it saves me the cost of taking the lovely Mrs Chix out for Valentines Day and buying one of those plastic roses .. come to think of it I think I've still got last years hidden somewhere in the boot of the car ... must dig it out !
