Well said that man!

Well said that man!

Johnny Westwood has his knockers, but love him or loathe him he has earned a new found respect from me - I know people that know him personally and they always say what a genuine man he is, and I think he just proved it on sky sports news just now.

Speaking live on sky sports news he gave a fantastic interview that summed up everything that is true about the game and the situation many find themselves in as a result of their love for their respective clubs.

The fella interviewing him did not seem to understand where he was coming from at times, maybe that is because he too gets obscene amounts of money from sky sports to do his job and does not understand why anyone would want to knock the football gravy train...

Loyalty, a thing of the past in football - I would encourage anyone that missed his interview to try and find it somewhere and listen to it again, just brilliant. I reckon that just about every single footballer could do with listening to it as well, a few home truths might hit home if they did - although I doubt it!

John is a decent guy, more so when sober. Easy to be critical but he is always there supporting the club he & we all love.

He is Jeckle and Hide. Sober he is one of the nicelst guys you could meet, but a few drinks and he embarrases himslef, his club and his fellow supporters. Shame as he could be an Assett to Pompey that no other club has.

Talking of Westwood, was he sat back in the Fratton End due to the large amounts of Bristol City fans, or because he managed to get hold of some general sale tickets and get it unnoticed?

Vital Pre-Match - League 2, 27th September

The 2016-17 season continues with the latest round of matches this midweek, which will see us among those having a match in this upcoming schedule with three-points the aim of course.

Tranmere loan for Tollitt

Ahead of the weekend win over Barnet, which probably wouldn't have been a game he was involved in anyway, Ben Tollitt was sent out on loan to Tranmere.

All deserve the plaudits for that performance

I think that's a fair assessment from Cook, some played a little better than others but Barnet was a very good team performance from Pompey even if it wasn't 'really' a 5-1 scoreline.
