Pompey replay live on Setanta Sports

Pompey replay live on Setanta Sports

Perhaps not surprisingly Setanta have opted to show the Bristol City and Pompey replay live on 13th January, kick off is scheduled for 19.45 GMT. With the prospect of the holders falling at the first hurdle it was always going to get the nod. This will be Pompey's first appearance on Setanta Sports this season.

Ticket details will be announced by the club shortly.

Another Replay

This is the third time Pompey have been paired with Bristol City in the FA Cup. All three were played at Fratton Park and all ended in draws. To date the two replays were both won by City, 4-1 in 1973 and 2-0 in 1935 (when Pompey had lost the Final to Manchester City the previous season!)

Let's hope lightning does not strike THREE times!

FA Youth Cup Tickets

The following night, Wednesday January 14, Pompey entertain Manchester City in the FA Youth Cup fourth round. Tickets which can be bought in advance for the South Stand only, priced £5 for adults and £3 concessions, are on sale from the club`s ticket office.

Alternatively, cash only tickets can be bought from the media centre on Frogmore Road on the evening of the game.

At least Sultana has the decency to air one of our games. Apart from the Community Shield we haven't appeared on one of their live games. And we just thought the Media has something against us! Must be all in the mind surely? Anyway; good news that this is being aired. For those of us not going to the game. Gives us all a chance to watch this either in the Pub or at home.

No SKY or BBC, 3 games on sultana 2 on ITV, & they get the replays as well with **** highlight programs as well, sorry but all sultana do for me is mess up the timing of games.

Vital View - League 2, 18th February 2017

Doncaster's winless run went on but they remain three points ahead of Plymouth. Carlisle are a further two points back. Leyton Orient and Newport hold the unwanted relegation places.

Video - Barnet 1-1 Pompey

A late Barnet goal looked as though it would end Pompey's unbeaten run but Conor Chaplin proved the saviour when he scored a last minute equaliser to earn a point in a 1-1 draw.
