Christmas greetings to all from the landlord

I cannot believe that a whole year has passed since I was last sat here, well not here as where I am sat with my laptop at this moment - something that I did not even have 12 months ago - is not the position that I sat last year when I passed on a brief 'Merry Christmas to all' message...

Well, a year it is that has passed, and what a year it has been, football wise anyway, even if we might now be 'paying the price' for this - I will share more of these thoughts when I do a 'what a year 2008 was' article nearer to the end of 2008 - and I have been fortunate enough to spend most of it in the company of many good friends and family members, both on here and in person. Many of these friends are in actual fact you guys from Vital Pompey, as at one time or another, be that in person or via the site itself, I have come across most of you and would like to thank you all for making this site what it is!

My colleagues paultsmouth, Chix and eastneydave put in plenty of time and effort, so again I thank them and wish them and their families all the best of happiness this festive season and of course for the new year.

We must also all give very special thanks to Jonathan and Andy, the two guys who are the masterminds behind Vital Football, as without these guys none of this would even be possible - so again best wishes and thanks go to them from me, and I am sure each and everyone of you too.

Enjoy the Christmas period however you are going to be spending it, but do still drop in on this site over the days of Christmas as although it might not be that busy there will still be things added from time to time over the next week or so - a 'match day live' feature for the Arsenal game will of course be run on Sunday 28th, so be here if you can!

2008 has been a fantastic year for Vital Pompey, recent problems have been a pain but we are getting back up to speed - lets make 2009 even better, regardless as to what happens on and off the pitch.

Once again, Merry Christmas to you all, and I mean all on Vital Football, not just Pompey fans on here - thanks again for making this site, and in fact network, what it is...

Bolton's Wilkinson unlikely to play for Pompey?
