You can certainly see the frustration all over Defoe, and he's picking up bookings as a result. Crouchie came out with some credit, and Krunchie is just back from injury, so can be given a break? As already discussed on this site, Jamo is a shadow of his former self - can we get that keeper back we had last year? But then that started earlier in the season, before HR left. I think most of us can handle losing to a better side, but its the poor performances and lack of commitment that upset us. The golden days are gone, I hope everyone enjoyed it while it lasted. Back to the real Pompey we have known for all these years.

On this day in history...27th May

A look back at this day in history, and what was happening with Pompey courtesy of our sister site PompeyRama, 27th May.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.

Liverpool goalie keen on Pompey return

Will he get this chance though? I think we could quite safely say he'll not be in the Liverpool 1st team next season and Pompey want a goalie so could this be Ryan Fulton...
