Kranjcar plays down New Year exit

Kranjcar staying put - for now at least...
Niko Kranjcar has not quite ruled out, but he has played down the chances of him leaving Pompey in January, despite ongoing reports linking him to Arsenal and of course Spurs.

The Croatian has said that his main priority is to stay fit, and so long as we carry on pushing for European football he is happy playing for us - which is fair enough! He also said that transfer speculation around his own future has been rife since he was a teenager, so it's nothing new to him.

It is good that Kranjcar wants to stay, and he has joined others in saying that, but we also have to show him the same respect and keep him if he wants to stay - although of course if the price is right he, and others would go, but only if it benefits the club hopefully.

I do rate him and would want him to stay but still say in all honesty that if Arsenal offered a sum of money and allowed us to keep Armand Traore on a permanent basis I would be tempted...

Taylors was better but both were great goals.

Mattys should have won goal of the season. Muntari hit 2 crakers at Villa last season & they didn't win that month eith so I was half expecting GJ to miss out to some lame effort bu a Manure player!!!
