Am I Dreaming? Two Wins!

Pompey hammer out the irons

Pompey carried on where they left off against Man city, both in team selection and attacking nature, we even scored more than once for the second week on the bounce!
West ham made the expected changes ahead of their plum q-final tie on Monday, but kept the same back four and carried a goal threat with ex-blue Sheringham and Zamora.

The first half couldn’t have gone any better for Pompey, Lua Lua keeping a pre-match promise in breaking his long goal drought from 12 yards, Sean Davis continuing his steady improvement with a smart finish, and Pedro Mendes eclipsing last weeks two cracking efforts with another twenty yard beauty in the style un-seen by Pompey fans since the departure of Patrik Berger.

West ham showed their intentions at half time, Harewood and Benayou coming off the bench in a go for broke situation, Harewood hitting the bar soon after coming on from a tight angle. Benjani had a golden opportunity to break his duck soon after but his lack of confidence showed as he dragged his effort tamely wide.

The hammers were not to be denied though, and Koncheskys effort came off the post to none other than ex-captain Sheringham who doesn’t miss from 12 yards.

Todorov on for the beleagured Benjani returned the favour by tucking home against his former club with time ticking away to put any nerves to bed, Benayou scoring at the death to give the scoreline some respectability to the hammers fans, who will now look to Monday for solace.

Pompeys first back to back wins for 50 premiership games have come at just the right time, with both West brom and brum going down at home, now for a resurgent Arsenal next week, a few days before their champions league tie, anyone for a rest from Highbury?

Play up Pompey,

Paultsmouth

I agree.... Like I Posted a few weeks ago..... I anyone can sort it, Harry can... Harry and the team have come good. Lets just hope its not to late. Ive bet £20 with my best mate Jamie before the Man City game that Pompey would stay up. I would of got good odds at the the bookies. But somehow I knew. I still believe! Do U?

Fulham's win on Sunday probably confirms it's now a 3 horse race for one safe spot. I still don't know - anything can happen.

Dont write off Villa. Their fans told me that we were dreadfull when we went there 3 weeks back, but they were not bored rigid as Villa normally perform like that mnost weeks. Even they feel they are riding higher than they should be so, lets see if they fall into the mud too

the more the better

I dont think they will but like vbrentford it would be very nice if there was more
