Away Goals - Euro Chimes: Did it help you?

Away Goals - Euro Chimes: Did it help you?

I know that I keep banging on and on about Away Goals - Euro Chimes, but I cannot stress enough how important this fanzine was to Pompey fans - and will be again next season!

An unbelievable amount of time and effort goes into this with the Football Supporters Federation (FSF) doing their utmost to help us fans, and all of this helps the fans so much.

Pompey happened to benefit from Away Goals - Euro Chimes this season, but Free Lions, the bigger brother of a fanzine, produced for England fans is so strongly backed - ask anyone that travels to watch England and they will tell you that it is 'their bible'. With even more positive vibes growing from the success of Away Goals - Euro Chimes there is the chance that it will not only help us Pompey fans in the future - and we will be back in Europe again, 'my mate Rug says' - so you can take that to the bank - but also other fans of English clubs going abroad, as if the support for it is strong enough then the authorities that really matter will back this even more...

A report on the 'Fans' Embassy' activities for our 3 European away games is currently being compiled, and this will eventually end up with the Home Office, amongst others. So feedback on how much the fanzine and the FSF in general helped is being sought - so can you please share your thoughts, either below of by emailing me.

For example, did you fine the fanzine "helpful/hilarious/crap" etc. or to be more specific "although I was staying in Hannover, the FSF sent me lots of useful info but no veggie restaurants". I had some feedback emailed to me that I could share prior to the Germany trip, any further feedback since this adventure will help us all - and trust me, although you might not know it, or even feel it, it will!

It only takes a few moments to share your thoughts that could help us - and others - in the future, so please do. Just leave thoughts below or email me on this address: portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk.

PLAY UP POMPEY!

==========

Also, do not forget that those that went to Germany are being asked to share the experience with us in the 'Write to Rug' feature, jointly run by this site and the fanzine. So, again drop me a line and I will publish all, with the best going in to the next fanzine, and there will be one! - portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk...

I thought the guides were absoloutely fantastic and made planning trips easier and also added to the excitement - they're also a nice little keepsake! Fantastic work and let's hope and pray they get the chance to produce some more for us!

Lots of useful info - it was also a good idea to ask for input beforehand - I noticed a lot of info on Hannover, obviously where the majority of Pompey fans were staying. It also gave useful info on where the bars were etc. Hope it grows as its a great idea. You certainly gave up a lot of your time distributing it in Wolfsburg, Rug, good work.
