...I think you made a mistake with the wolfsburg line up ;-) as for our line up... it looks like we will be playing the croatian style...

mvuemba on the right sounds good - he's been playing well when he's come on. davis and hughes will be solid, hopefully sol and distin will to. slight concern that Tony didnt pick crouch becuase he wanted to prove we play good football... but actually, I think that this is a way of playing that could work very well - and means that come west brom, we will still have at least one set of fresh legs!

Well the Wolfsburg manager was quoted as saying we play long balls up to Crouch for flick-ons, put him right didn't it?

Strange one really. No height upfront at all, a bit like when England play

Last time we made a dramatic change to formation in a cup match, I seem to remember beating Leeds 3-2 with Bradders and Svensson playing wide

No More Quarter Final Replays For Pompey

Should Portsmouth progress through to an FA Cup quarter final from the 2016/17 season onwards, the game will no longer be subject to a replay.

Chesterfield's O'Shea targeted

Although so far Pompey have had two bids turned down for Chesterfield's O'Shea. Will, assuming another bid (as it's expected) is made, it be third time luck for the Blues?

It wasn't Real Madrid but Bristol City isn't bad!

Contrary to what I just wrote (muppet that I am) this isn't at Fratton this is at Ashton Gate with Pompey heading to Bristol City on Saturday 30th July, with a 3pm kick-off.
