Sahar Off / Diarra on mend

Diarra on the mend.

Some good news today concerning Lassana Diarra. He has had a scan with the French national squad and could possibly be fit as early as this Saturday when Hull City come to Fratton Park.

Physio Gary Sadler told the clubs official site `When Lassana left Upton Park on crutches we thought he had a very bad ankle injury. But the injury isn`t as bad as we originally thought`.

Ticket Concession warning

Pompey have again warned fans against attempting to enter the ground using the wrong ticket type. During the last few months club officials have become aware that a large group of fans have the incorrect ticket type - mostly adults using junior`s or young person`s tickets - and plan to take severe action.

Additional staff will police the automatic gates and anyone found using the wrong type of ticket will have the ticket confiscated, they will be ejected from the ground and banned from attending future matches.

Remember if, for example, you are given a ticket by a senior citizen to use for one game you can upgrade the ticket at the ticket office at a relatively small cost and save all the hassle.

Spurs sacked goalkeeping coach

Tottenham goalkeeping coach Hans Leitert has been sacked following a number of poor displays by error-prone keeper Heurelho Gomes. Brazilian Gomes only joined in the summer from PSV Eindhoven for £10 Million and has been blamed for a number of goals conceded recently.

However it is his coach who has paid the ultimate price and he too only joined in the summer. Speculation now is that ex-Pompey boss Harry Redknapp will attempt to lure Pompey`s keeping Coach David Coles to the Lane. Coles has played a major role in David James` return to the England team.

Sahar returns to the Bridge

Pompey have announced that on loan Israeli striker Ben Sahar will return to Stamford Bridge in January rather than an attempt be made to extend the agreement.

Sahar has not been involved with the first team in their last fourteen games and has yet to make his debut. Some will argue that he has not been given a chance to impress but the decision appears to have been made to free up one of the two loans allowed from other Premier League sides. Arnand Traore fills the other place.

Belhadj wants to sign permanently

Nadir Belhadj the left sided player on loan form Lens has made it clear he wanted to sign permanently.

He admitted that although the language is still a problem he has the advantage of a number of French speakers around him to help and wants a permanent deal sorted soon.

"sign him up, sign him up" (Belhadj that is!)

I am willing to teach him some English. I am not THAT good at French having done my O level in 1981 but if it helps keep him... "monsieur Belhadj, vous etes mon favorit qui joue a la gauche" (or have I just ordered some chips)

We must sign Belhadj, what a gifted player he may turn out to be.

Great news on the Diarra and Belhadj front! On the Sahar side though - Going home to you mummy! Going home to your Mummy!

Any chance of Sahar getting a game before he leaves have been well & truly scuppered. Silly boy. No doubt we can trade him in for another prem loan? Diarra, well every game is a massive bonus he plays & especially with his probable move in the New Year. The Milan game may suit him. Maybe they'll make a £20m offer???
storagematt
Soooo glad Diarra looks as tho he is OK. Bet Ben Sahar isn't talking to his mother!

Diarra = Fantastic News, Sahar = Good riddence squinny, Tickets = Come on people that's pretty low, Coles to Spurs = Conjecture (hopefully), Belhadj = A star in the making - Sign him up !!

Ben Sahar has been a mistake, should we blame Harry? of course we should, hopefully he will go to Spurs with Judas Diarra being around is great news and how we need his magic. I see Stephen Appiah is touting himself on Sky again, hopefully he will go to the Spuds as well.

Owens.. (lol) need a comma in there somewhere I read yours as ......hopefully he will go to Spurs with Judas Diarra.. ... Read it again and now know where your coming from. Yeah Appiah to Spurs, a perfect match I think two mercanairies together.
Chix
Excuse me Chix, i think you know what i meant, mercanaries is a good word for the both of them, however i could think of a couple more!!
