Vital songs for Fratton - Vol 1...

We all agree that 'Pompey are in need some new songs' - so with the help of Vital Pompey we have agreed to make it happen, or at least try to...

Its been a while since we had any real 'new songs' so this is our chance to do this with some simple, yet catchy and effective little numbers - most of which are adaptable to suit a specific player or opposition.

After putting forward ideas the best 2 have been selected, a leaflet designed and this is now ready to go with it hoped that people will read, learn and pass on to others so we can get these songs buzzing around Fratton to give what is a fantastic atmosphere a new lease of life...

So, where are these songs and how do I pass them on I hear you ask?

Well you simply have to go to the thread in the forum, download the song sheet, print it off, cut it in two and distribute as you see fit ahead of the Hull game the weekend after next...

To go to this thread with the song sheet simply click here!

This is nothing to do with songs but did you see that bit on Sky SPorts News with DJ driving around ina blue Reliant Robin having lost a bet! My dad, who never got a driving licence, had one of them in the early seventies and you had to all lean to one side to go round a corner. The worst bit was passing other Reliant drivers going the other way and them tooting and waving like it was a cool club to be in, the Reliant drivers. Even Dad was ashamed.

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
