No-one on the VL site so I guess I'll give me tuppenceworth here on the lineups. Hyypia in to deal with Crouch, Pennant in to attack your left back (who I admit I don't know much about) and Lucas and Babel in for Mascherano and Keane. It looks like Rafa's rotation has struck again :( (well, only if we don't win lol)

You're more than welcome Naoise.. Surprised to see Keane on the bench.. and Defoe.. We are obviously going 4-5-1 to try and keep you out .. Utaka is a surprise inclusion for us

yep, 4-5-1, with defoe terrorising the defence late on. also when kraknjcar comes on itll be where he plays best! and this way utaka plays where he did so well last year.

Duo sign professional Pompey deals

Will Jez Bedford and Theo Widdrington be the future Pompey midfield? We'll certainly hope so, clearly the Blues do too or they wouldn't have signed professional deals at Fratton Park.

Nathan Thompson - A Swindon perspective

Prior to his departure for Wigan, Paul Cook wanted Nathan Thompson at Pompey. Interest was retained by Kenny Jackett, who completed his free transfer signing from Swindon last week.
