Harry Seconds From the Sack?

The Mirror reported that Harry was one game from the sack when we faced Man City Saturday.

I think that this is complete rubbish but this is the extract from there paper;

'HARRY REDKNAPP was just seconds from the sack before Pedro Mendes' injury-time winner saved his job as Portsmouth manager.

Pompey's Russian millionaire co-owner Sacha Gaydamak and chairman Milan Mandaric held secret talks on the eve of their clash with Manchester City and were set to axe him if they did not win.

Tycoon Gaydamak, who has pumped £27million into the club and on new signings since January, has been losing faith with Redknapp because of the club's dismal run.

Serbian millionaire Mandaric fought to bring Redknapp back to the club but Gaydamak believed if they did not win against City it was time to change the manager in a desperate last throw of the dice.

But midfielder Mendes gave Redknapp one final chance with his last-gasp winner to complete Portsmouth's first three-pointer since December 31 and Gaydamak's first victory since buying into the club.'

crap, no point bringing anyone in now, its far too late for late, if we go down, we go down with redknapp in charge

Agree with both of the above, who wants to look in the Mirror anyway, and Harry should go down with the ship, somebody else would anyway....in fact more chance of the latter.

I don't even believe the date in the mirror, sack, my arse.

The Mirror is not a true reflection of itself, it is cracked and now shows once again the ugly side. The feud with Pompey continues, gutter press really. Not even suitable for arse wiping, or carrying Southampton's fish and chips.

The papers just dont like Pompey, They go out of their way to cause an internal revolution. All bad press, is always "harry said this about Milan" or "Milan said this about Harry", Sacha and Milan unhappy. Always the same line of attack. They are just playing on history, using the public fallout between Milan and Harry as means to cause more internal problems. I for one, no longer trust a word printed in any of them.
