'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Most have been on a European tour...

I have already been on tour with Pompey and I loved it, not my vote, yours - and these findings from pompeyrug's poll are thoughts I do share as I did go to Guimaraes.

Following Pompey in Europe in this seasons uefa cup is yet another great step on the adventure that has just got better and better over the past few years - and it was a fantastic experience!

Anyone that went to Portugal for our game with Vitoria SC, be that via Guimaraes itself or Porto - via other stops, as was the case for most - will tell you just how wonderful the experience was and would recommend you take up the opportunity to go to a future game - if you can...

It was a fairly even spilt of Vital Pompey members here, but a healthy amount did go and those that did not are planning to go to a future one! Sadly I cannot make Braga next week, but am looking into various ways of travel so I can get to Wolfsburg... all being well!

  • What the poll asked - Who from Vital Pompey went on the start of the European Tour?

  • How you voted - Yes I did - and loved it! 38%, No - but I do aim for a game... 34%, Sadly not this time 28%

  • Current Poll - The European tour - in Europe - has started, and a large number have gone but just how long will this last?

The minimum aim for most was a spot in the group stages - we have managed that and better still will face Milan, but how far can we go in the uefa cup? This is what pompeyrug wants to know with this - 'Honest thoughts on what our future uefa cup progress will be?' Let the poll do the talking before we do when it finishes.

Before we move on what are your thoughts on what the last poll concluded? You know what to do, thoughts below please guys...

For those of us who have followed Pompey for 20 years or more know, we have seen many lows & thankfully now many highs. As fickle as football is & as the money men decide our fate, you just never know if we will ever have this situation again. Pompey in Europe is a must or you just may never get that chance again. We are not one of the big 4 who can always have next season. Sod the cost & go at least once.

I would love to Matt, but it's not quite that easy.
