Braga - Pompey, ticket info

Ticket information has been revealed for those that are looking to travel abroad to watch Pompey again when we return to Portugal to face Braga next week in our opening uefa cup group game.

This is what the Pompey Site tells us...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

==========

BRAGA TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets for Pompey's UEFA Cup group stage clash at SC Braga will go on sale to all supporters on the club's database from 9.30am on Thursday, October 16.

The kick-off time for the match at the Braga Municipal Stadium on Thursday, October 23 is yet to be confirmed.

Pompey have been given an allocation of 2,500 seats and tickets are priced at £32, with no concessions.

Supporters can only purchase tickets in person at the club`s ticket office in Rodney Road. You may purchase only one ticket per person.

Please bring your passport and client reference number with you - if you do not bring these then you will not be sold a ticket.

If tickets are still available, the ticket office will be open on Saturday, October 18 between 9am and midday but will only be manned by a skeleton staff as they do not normally open on a non-matchday Saturday.

And if, like me, you live over 100 miles from Rodney road - 95 of those miles across water - then what!?!?!?!?!

Are they trying to discourage fans from going? Turn up in person on a weekday? Don't they know people have jobs? Some of us have used all our leave up following Pompey this year.

They want us to pay the silly money with their packages rather than have the fun road trips.

That's crackers! I'm really gutted that I can't afford to go on any more away trips but don't know what I'd do if I wanted to get a ticket for this one...I wonder if they'll sell out?

Back to being good old Pompey and not thinking about the fans. Everybody give them a clap for thinking this one through.

I hope they don't do this with the Wolfsburg tickets, as the flights and hotels are booked and this would make it difficult to get a ticket. Not as difficult though as it is for people who live a long way away. Why can't they let you buy a ticket for someone else if you have their database number and passport details, seeing as you have to go in person?
