Pompey fixture changes - confirmed

Yesterday I had speculated on what I thought the changes would be for a few Pompey games - and now these changes have been confirmed on the Pompey Site...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

==========

PREMIER LEAGUE FIXTURE CHANGES

Several of Pompey's Premier League fixtures have moved due to the club's involvement in the UEFA Cup.

The home matches against Fulham and Blackburn will now be played a day later on Sunday, October 26 and Sunday November 30 respectively. The Fulham game will kick-off at 4pm with the Blackburn fixture beginning at 3pm.

The visit to West Bromwich Albion will now be on Sunday, December 7, kick-off 3pm.
Pompey's home match against Newcastle has also been moved to accommodate the Sky cameras. The match will now be played on Sunday, December 14, kick-off 1.30pm.

Here's hoping the runners for the Great South Sun will have finished & gone well in time for us to come in for the Fulham game.

A bigger diary needed for nest year with all the crossings out needed... Somebody should invent one of those peel on peel off ticker calendars for the fixtures.. It would make it soo much easier to keep track of things.. Fancy a visit to the Dragon's Den anybody ?

we get money for being on tv, we took this so cannot moan about 'having less time to prepare' for heerenveen - at least both are at home, so minimal travel... at least for the players.

hey... we're short of cash at the moment... but so's everybody (other than man city and chelsea) - of course we are going to accept being on TV!

I'm glad the kick off is at 4pm now for the Fulham game. If it had been at 1:30pm i'd have missed the game, although i'd like to think i'd have finished the run by then!
