Another Sunday game...

Another Sunday game...

...due to the sky cameras this time!

Sunday games are going to be common place for us this season due to the uefa cup campaign, but now we have seen another game changed to a poxy Sunday from its original Saturday 3pm kick off due to the sky sports cameras...

Instead of taking place at Fratton with a 3pm kick off on Saturday 13th December, our game with Newcastle will now be played at 1.30pm on Sunday 14th.

Although Sunday games are actually better for me travel wise I would rather have games played on a Saturday, as Saturday at 3pm is when football 'should' be played - but this is now a dying breed!

I am lucky I can get to the game and sky+ the game or get extended hi lights on football first; others who arent so lucky have to wait until about midnight for the inevtable 1 minute at the end of the dreadfull MOTD2

Why another home game, come on sky, as a season ticket holder, I don't give a monkey's, & the cost of petrol limits the away games , oh yes they showed the Chelsea game whoopee can drive there in 50 minutes.

Tends not to worry me as long as I know well in advance .. part of the game now I'm affraid.. To be honest we should know better than to expect the games not to move ...

Doesn't bother me either way. It has to happen as it is part of the game now as Chicx says. Just be glad we are not one of the BIG 4 who seem to only have had one game each so far this season at Saturday 3:00.

PompeyFrippy looks ahead to Mansfield where Pompey MUST win in order to keep alive the hopes of beating Doncaster - who end this if they beat Exeter - and Plymouth to the title.

Over and out?

Noel Hunt's Pompey career could be over? A dislocated shoulder, at Hartlepool, means the former Southend man will not feature against Mansfield or Cheltenham.

Burgess - we can go again in league one

Christian Burgess, like the rest of us, is enjoying Pompey's promotion to league one BUT he's not content to settle at that level - he's already eyeing the Championship.

Winger returns but full back on his way out?

Ex-Chelsea & Walsall winger Lalkovic is back at Pompey, ahead of the proposed end to his Ross loan. Talbot looks as if his Blues days are numbered, a Chesterfield return is mooted?
