Undercover Chix - Tottenham

Chix has been undercover at White Hart Lane and brought back an exclusive interview with a Spurs insider who goes under the name of Paxton53. Read the interview below

Tell us a little about yoursef
I have been a season ticket holder on and off for the past 30 now. I started going to Spurs with my father and enjoyed such players like Hoddle and Ardilies.
Unfortunately, like most Football supporters the highs have been very few.

Who is the better manager Jol or Ramos ?
That is a difficult question to answer. I have always said that Ramos will only be proved to be the better manager when he surpasses Jol`s two top five finishes.

Given Spurs poor start to the season have you revised your expectations of what you think is achievable from this campaign?
With the loss of Berbatov and Keane my expectations at the beginning of the season were never that great to be honest, but I did not expect to be bottom after five or six games. Now, I think we will do well to get inside the top 10.

Early days I know, but who would you consider to be your best summer signing ?
At the moment I would say Gomez. He is solid and a much better goalkeeper than Paul Robinson.

What`s your view on the `Lassana Diarra to Spurs` stories that keep cropping up in the press?
At any point in time, Spurs get linked with every player in the world. These days I tend not to take much notice of speculation and I do not usually form an opinion until we have signed a player.

Given we have a few, which of your old boys would you take back ?
Jermaine Defoe, a quality player that we should have used a lot more when he was with us. He was totally mismanaged at Spurs. He became a bit of a favourite at Spurs and he will always get a warm welcome back.

Which Tottenham player do you think is the `one to watch` on Sunday ?
At this moment in time, I would say Aaron Lennon - the boy has probably been our best player so far this season.

Who is the one Pompey player you feel can do you the most damage on Sunday ?
Jermaine Defoe, we all know at Spurs what he is capable of.

Other than `Come on you Spurs` What's the one song we are guaranteed to hear from your traveling fans on Sunday?
When the Spurs go marching in will be a dead cert.

Realistically, what do you expect the score to be?
Put it this way, I never back against my team but I would take a draw now.

Where would you expect Pompey and Spurs to finish come May?
As a manager I rate Harry and I think Pompey could finish 5th or 6th. Tottenham, probably about 10th.

Thanks Paxton53, I reckon we should revisit the prediction in May?

Yeah.. I'd settle for a draw too Dave but I've still got that sneaking feeling that we will nick it ... Although a clean sheet is what I'd settle for more than anything at the mo.

Blimee Chix. You ARE brave! I read it last night, not much for them to argue about there, if they are honest with themselves! Well done.
