Tickets selling fast for Vitoria game

Pompey have around 15,000 season ticket holders and 75% of these have taken up their allocation for the uefa cup game with Victoria SC at Fratton a week tomorrow - September 18th.

All of this is despite the 6pm kick off time!

These sales have 'delighted' Peter Storrie with him revealing to Radio Solent that this intake is the highest ever Pompey have had for a cup tie: 'I'm delighted, it's the biggest ever initial take up we've had for a cup tie.

'Vitoria are bringing 700 fans so there will be an extra 2,000 tickets when they go on general sale shortly.'

Tickets go on general sale tomorrow with no restrictions on the amount of tickets you can purchase... Details on this can be found here.

I am there as well, which means I may have to drive back from Newmarket slightly faster than normal and may miss a pint or two in the arms! :(

Still no news about the away allocation and details of when they go on sale though which is really frustrating, I want to confirm i can get tickets before splashing out a fortune on flights, trouble is every day that goes by the more expensive the flights become. SORT IT OUT!
stooH

More time off work, but I am lucky as I can make up time another day, boss likes football too. bring it on.

I wouldn't panic on away tickets, the club will have a back up plan to sell more if the first batch sell.
storagematt
Got my ticket, will have time off work to go down & watch it. Couldn't stand watching it on 5ive. History in the making. The price of the tickets actually make the Away trip a little more do-able.

Gutted, as can't get there for 6pm. I'll bet the atmosphere will be rocking!!!! Will be there in spirit. Better make the group stage, a respectable kick-off time and slay one of the giants! Enjoy the night guys n' gals.
