CARLING CUP TICKET INFORMATION

Tickets for Pompey's Carling Cup third round clash with Chelsea at Fratton Park on Wednesday, September 24 will go on sale in stages.

Season ticket holders have been designated a specific date to purchase their tickets, depending on where they sit in the ground:

Thursday, September 11: Fratton end (West Stand)

Friday, September 12: South Stand Upper and Family

Monday, September 15: North Stand Upper

Tuesday, September 16: North Stand Lower

Please note that selling the tickets in stages should minimise queuing, but should season ticket holders miss their designated day, they will be able to purchase tickets on any working day.

Season ticket holders need to purchase their tickets by 5pm on Tuesday, September 16 if they want to ensure that they sit in their regular seat.

Tickets will then go on sale to members on Wednesday, September 17 and subject to availability, will go on general sale from Thursday, September 18.

Tickets will be sold over the phone via Ticketmaster on 0844 847 1898 (option one, between 10am-6pm) or to personal callers at the club's ticket office in Rodney Road (Monday-Friday 9.30am-5.30pm).

Tickets cost just £20 for adults, £10 for seniors and young person season ticket holders and £5 for juniors.

Season ticket holders and members will have the game loaded onto their season/member cards when they have made their payment.

It would be better if the club charged ₤22 per ticket and then gave ₤2 to Ticketmaster. That would hurt far less.

i was going to mention the £2 fee more heavily within the article, but as most the info is offical club information thought i better not push it... altho tbh i think that pompey 'should' start mentioning the fee that 'ticketshafter' charge in official releases...
