In August Vital Pompey received 2,985,892 hits, which is the most ever on this site! You cannot judge the success of the site on hits alone, as other factors come into play - but these factors were also the highest ever recorded, bar one which was slightly down in the record.

However by breaking through the 2m hits barrier yet again it meant we had done this for an 8th consecutive month, keep up the good work guys!

This site - much like the Vital Football network full stop - continues to grow at a phenomenal rate, with our improvement here matching that of Pompey's on and off the pitch so lets keep it going, but for this we must all carry on getting involved - both new and old...

Come & join the best site. Run by the best for the best. PS Rug I like top picture. I was sat in those red, padded Club Wembley seats, right at the front behind the goal. The screen behind was fantastic. Happy days.

It also helps marriages. You know how you men seem to have sole rights to the TV clicker? Well, Gandor senior is no different and he watches the most incredible c--p - as do you all! So now, all I do when he is entertaining himself is get up from my chair - Matryr like - (which he doesn't even notice) and log into VP. After two minutes on VP, I've forgotten what I wanted to watch anyway. Great!

I like this site, we dont all agree all the time, hell we would be sad scummers if we did lol, but atleast we can air our views, be agreed with, disagreed with, but next article all is forgotten, the slates are wiped clean and we take sides once more lol. Excellent for the blood pressure :-)

I just have to be firm and say 'my computer time now'. Used to go on the site in my old job all the time, but not so confident to do that in my new one. But if I don't get on the site, I miss it, and think 'I wonder what the site is saying about that.'. Its a great way to make new friends, too.
