Cranie joins Charlton on loan

Just before the closing of the transfer window Martin Cranie has completed a loan move to Charlton.

He has joined them on loan for the rest of the season - with him joining up with them once the international break is over with.

So long as he returns at the end of this loan then this is a good one - which I hope that he does, as I maintain my thoughts that he has a fantastic future ahead of him.

it looks good - I hope he does well, and gets some experiance - but more importantly, he comes back!

it was a late, late one wasnt it - not really a surprise tho is it as its been on the cards for a while... lets just hope that he does return in the summer!
well guys, we made it through the day without any major damage - shame we couldnt have got a midfielder but keeping key players was most important... there are still free agents out there tho lets not forget if need be.

yep, im still hoeful on appiah, he seems like he could do a good job. and les hope cranie doesnt turn into a duffy.
jbaker
appiah is the one we really want now - and with harrys experiance at coaxing players into coming to fratton park, it seems possible - however I won't hold my breath...

Good luck to MC. It's half past midnight & I'm off to bed.

didnt appiah say he wanted to join pompey ages ago? then again, muntari had been a pompey fan for a year, and he left after only 12 months.
jbaker
yep im off to bed aswell now as its been a long day, might not have had loads of articles to add to vital pompey, but its been a long day nevertheless... delighted that barton hasnt signed, even more so that diarra is still here - but was that ever in doubt...
