Very few Manyoo tickets left!

Pompey take on Manyoo on Monday, and there are only a reported 250 tickets left for this game - so if want a ticket you better move fast. Unfortunately due to the 'platinum system' in place you do also have to commit to the corresponding 'silver fixture' of course!

This is what the Pompey Site has said...

PLAY UP POMPEY!

==========

ONLY 250 SEATS LEFT FOR UNITED CLASH

There are only around 250 tickets remaining for the game with Manchester United on Monday, August 25, with most of them single seats.

Contrary to false rumours on various fan websites, tickets are selling fast.

A club spokesman said: "I am not sure where the different rumours come from but the reality is different.

"There are only around 250 seats left so we would urge people wanting to go to the game to contact the ticket office in the next couple of days."

Only two days remain for fans to snap up the remaining seats.

On Friday they can either phone the club or purchase tickets at the ticket office in Rodney Road.

On Saturday tickets will only be available to personal callers to the ticket office between 9.00am - 1.00pm.

On the subject of the Manyoo game, do not forget that you, the Vital Pompey members, are being given the opportunity to write the match reports for this site this season...

Manyoo was a game that Pompeyhaz had said that they wanted to do the report for - so far nothing has been confirmed, so can you do this mate? Alternatively if someone else wants to do it comment below or click the promo link - also below - and say...

I am gutted that I have to miss this match. What is worse is that I probably wont even get to watch it on TV as I will be travelling home from Essex. Grrrrr!

Let's stay optimistic that it won't turn out to be one of the those games that you wouldn't even switch on MOTD for.....

It's a pig of a time for those not living close to Pompey. Interesting to see how the ticket sale goes, having linked it with buying for another game. Crap idea though I understand why they are doing it. Easier to lower the prices for the not so fancy games.

Sneakay .. there's always the radio... If you haven't got one in your car.. I'll nick ya one to order...(lol) :) Bose speakers alright ?...
Chix
Man Utd at home this is what the premiership is all about and remember we don't expect to get anything out of the 'Big Four' games so in the unlikely event we do lose.. don't get downhearted nobody was expecting us to win... But if we manage a draw well that's happy days.. a win ....and party around mine !!
Chix
Thanks for the offer Chix, but I have an alright radio at present. I just need a passenger to sit and wind it up to keep the power going! lol

Glad to see Matt has come round to giving his wholehearted support to the Platinum scheme lol. Game would have sold out weeks ago without it but you have to watch Hull City as well.

Yes Dave, and of course whilst the club is suffering from the credit squeeze, us fans are so loaded that we can fork out for matches that we may not, even if we wanted to - which we do, be able to attend. Best not get me started on that again because I'm getting to be boring.

Mmmm? I wonder if the club are perplexed as to why they haven't sold out the biggest game of the season!...Now let me think...somewhere in the back of my mind....Mmmm....Hu....the mist is clearing...Hu.....I see it........Hull.................
pentonpompey
Penton; as far as the club is concerned, it will have worked because now Man U is sold out, so is, presumably, the Hull game. I guess that's how it works for them.
