Pompey quartet back in training

They might not be number one picks in our side, but they are major players in the squad game at least so having Sean Davis, Richard Hughes, Glen Little and Noe Pamarot back in training is a welcome bonus for Pompey.

The quartet returned to training yesterday and could come into contention for the game with Manyoo on Monday, although the bench would probably be the most likely for most - that said Little could well force his way in to offer some width on the right?

I maintain my thoughts that if he can stay fit then Little could surprise plenty of people this season and might be able to offer that supply that Peter Crouch and Jermain Defoe are crying out for. Also, if Jerome Thomas can get his attitude right then his undoubted ability could also see the same said of him...

Kanu - ankle, David Nugent - groin and Linvoy Primus - groin have also stepped up their rehabilitation as they look to return.

We need all hands to the pumps. Can't wait for Little to make a start. I might then just have a little hope that that sphere thing will end up in that white string thing.

I hope harry plays Nugent somewhere even if its left back because he puts in loads of effort and I'm still hoping he will make it here.

whats happened to utaka ? i hope little and sahar get a chance, both looked good in pre-season

Funny, after all the positives Harry has had for Utaka he now says he wasn't good enough to be wide right against Chelsea and Diop was the better option. Work that one out.

I have given up trying to understand the words of "HR". My big fear is, have the players?
