'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Milan Madness

Milan told Pompey Pages: 'I believe we will stay up.

'But even if we did go down, it will be only short-term. There are other clubs, like Newcastle and Manchester City, who have been relegated and come back stronger. Even Manchester United did it in the 70s.

'I believe we would bounce back a better club. We're not going to go down and be struggling.

'We would sort things out quickly and shake off the problem. We would have to be positive, not discouraged. We would have to plan together to go forward.

'I think the key thing if it happened is not to throw in the towel.

'We've been down before and found a way to win promotion to the Premiership. So I think we could do it again.

'But I don't want to think about that because I believe we will stay up.'

Who would go? Can we still stay up?

Sunderland, Pompey and West Brom for me. I admire his never say die attitude, but sometimes you have to look in the mirror, the video replays and the league table, and realise it just isn't going to happen.

It isn't over 'til the fat lady sings. So what boring long opera are we going to watch at Fratton that finishes with a Prima Donna doing her big solo ?

Personally I have a soft spot for Harry and respect the fratton faithful a lot for being constantly the loudest bunch of home supporters around. I personally hope you guys can stay up but if Im honest, I am beginning to think it very unlikely.

Stay up or go down, lets stop the rift in the crowd and get behind Harry. We need him, He needs us, but the players need to know that we are all standing as one. No one hates Harry, if the truth is known, its just hurt speaking. We need to bury that Hate, and turn it back into pride.

Staying up, we're having a laugh. We are as doomed as Sunderland. I have just seen the season ticket prices for next year and i'm wondering what i can spend the saving on i've made. Good to see the club reduce the prices for next season. Unlike the scummers down the road who paid the same price for a premiership season ticket for this season in the Championship. On the promise they get to see extra matches that scum lose. Proves there are thick and F**kin stupid.

They wanted to draw more people but had to settle with drawing more games. It would be nice to come away from the convent with a win next season though.

And why is St.Marys reminiscent of a Convent....because the scum often score Nun in there !!

Let us pray for the forlorn, the destitute, the suffering, the poor people, the disabled, the mentally handicapped, but most of all spare a thought for a Southampton supporter....for he is suffering most, that Pompey are above them must hurt them most and let us remember with them the 1-4 defeat, yes let us keep remembering, for that sorrow will not come to pass. Lest we forget. Amen.
