That is good news! I see the United tickets have not sold out yet. Maybe something to do with the dodgy platinum scheme!

The platinum scheme is doomed to failure. Great news though about the cut-price tickets. Last season there were plenty of £5 tickets for kids but, for some reason, the club didn't publicise it. Inter Milan ticket £20, EasyJet to Milan £59, Peter Crouch £11m, the look on Tony's face when we win the UEFA cup, priceless.

It is good news and needs to be rewarded with good crowds for UEFA games especially. Peter Storrie last week at the fans forum said the club must have full houses for UEFA games or they will cost big money. Apparently there is very little prize money in the competition compared to the Champions League.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
