Premier League All Time Starting XI - Right Back

The right back has been chosen and again it comes in the form of another Manchester United player: Gary Neville, who took 45% of the votes.

He was followed by Lee Dixon with 24% and Dan Petrescu with 14%.

So what can I say about Gary Neville, well firstly he is one of a very rare breed these days having only ever played for one team, Manchester United where he started as a youth making his first senior debut in 1992. He has won 14 trophies within this time including 7 Premier League titles and 3 FA cups and in recent seasons was made Club Captain for his services. In the past couple of seasons he has suffered from a couple of bad injuries but he is expected to be fit and ready to play again this coming season.

Next up is the choice of centre backs, and this is going to be a bit different. You will only be able to vote once so you will have to choose wisely as the top TWO players that are voted for will become the centre back pairing for the Premier League XI. I am not suggesting it, but maybe some tactical voting maybe need to be done to make sure that both the players you think should be in the line up make it.

So please go and vote now. Remember, if you vote for other - tell me who you are voting for, otherwise I will not ever know and the vote can't be counted.

I don't think you can argue though with Mr Dependable winning.
sneakay

storagematt
are we man u fans in disguse? why are ferdinand and stam so high up the current poll... Tony adams all the way :-)
pompeycarpet
Im with you carpet - Tony Adams to get one of the positions.
sneakay
Palister gets my vote; tactical but a good shout nonetheless.
UKTony
I voted for adams, cant stand the man but he was some player
HuddersfieldYiddo
Can't believe we didn't vote Dixon in. Talk about Mr dependable. You are all wrong!!! lol...joke!
pompey4me
This poll has been taken over by Manure fans all their players have votes I'm with Carpet, Sneakay & Huddersfiedyiddo (brave man ) Adams all the way & Terry so low somethings not right.
pompeyyong
Adams and Campbell for me .. Won virtually everything between them - Tone marshalled the defence that one the league conceding only 8 goals and Sol led the 'invincibles defence'.. If this ends up being Ferdinand and Stam then I'll claim 'FARCE!'
Chix
totally agree chix... iand just think, if any team had both Campbel AND adams now, they would be unbeatable!
pompeycarpet
I went for Dixon, never would have voted for the over-rated manc
paultsmouth
The Neville brothers are inbred, but Gary is very reliable in defence.
nodster
i dont like either neville, but think it was only right that gary did win this round...
adams would certainly be one of my central defenders and probably campbell the other as over the years they held defences together for clubs and country.
pompeyrug
ferdinand has done nothing special, other than play "second fiddle" to both campbel, then terry on an international level. I'm not even sure if he is better than vidic...
pompeycarpet
Well the pole is swinging nicely around and now Adams is leading with Ferdinand second only just ahead of Campbell. It could still be any of these players to make it through.
