Ham Cup

Ham Cup

Looking for a new tournament. Well what about the HAM CUP. A Boaring competition perhaps or a PIG success. Or would it get the CHOP after only one SEASONING. Perhaps we could get a slice of the action if we entered as PORKSMOUTH.

16 teams Nationwide could be trying to bring the BACON home. Of course there could be a few SCRATCHINGS. I personally think it could serve up some CRACKLING football. Anyway KNUCKLE down and look at the candidates and let's HAM IT UP.

WEST HAM
TOTTENHAM
WOLVERHAMPTON.W
NORTHAMPTON
ROTHERHAM
OLDHAM
CHELTENHAM
NOTTINGHAM.F
BIRMINGHAM
FULHAM
WREXHAM
GILLINGHAM
HAMILTON
DAGENHAM & R.
ALTRINCHAM
and last and least SOUTHAMPTON

Sponsored by The DANISH BACON COMPANY and PORK FARMS.

Sick of Ham, and my sense of humour....oh well never mind you could always read Shakespeare (HAMLET perhaps).....Bye Dave.

Thank Dave

If anyone wants to write an article and send it to me, I will post it if it's any good!

Done Deal - Smith in permanently from Swindon

The interest Pompey retained in Smith, with him 'in our sights' has resulted in him returning to the Blues on a permanent basis after signing for an 'undisclosed fee' from Swindon.

Cushioning the blow

Much, that needed saying, about Webster's exit for Ipswich and the arrival of Clarke in return (and cash) has been said hasn't it? Doyle's been spot on with what he said.

Swindon striker in 'Pompey's sights'

Michel Smith, who was of course on loan last season, could return? He's still in 'Pompey's sights' by all accounts after Swindon informed him he's 'surplus to requirements' now.
