Talking Pompey with Pompey Bluto

Talking Pompey with Pompey Bluto

Vital Pompey has previously brought you the 'knowing me knowing you series' - which is still running, so others will be added and if you want to do one just email - now we have a little something extra this summer...

Pompey Bluto was asked 5 quick questions, this is what they said.

  • What are you expecting from Pompey in the coming season?
Top Ten Finish, defence of FA Cup and quarter-finals in Europe, with a narrow defeat to AC Milan at the San Siro.

  • Uefa cup - are you a fan of us being in this, or are you against it? Either way how well do you reckon we can do?
How can anyone not be a fan. A trip abroad with Pompey! See above for how we will do.

  • Which 3 players - that we could realistically sign - would you like to see arrive this summer?
Crouch (has happened), Bullard (goalscoring midfielder to replace Muntari), Steve Finnan (need a decent left back).

  • If you had to select 1 player to get shot of - or maybe to rephrase or make this decision easier, 'sacrifice' - to make a signing who would it be and why?
Diop, every time. Up there with Robert as the worst player for us in the premier league.

  • How many Pompey games do you expect to make this season?
All home and some cheeky away games.

Thanks to Pompey Bluto for answering these.

    PLAY UP POMPEY!

    ==========

That's the lot guys, I have no more of these to offer! So it is down to you now if we want more of these...

If anyone else wants to answer the questions simply drop me an email as a request, or with your answers on portsmouth@vitalfootball.co.uk and/or visit this link and I will make it happen.

Am I the only one who thinks Bluto's been a bit too harsh on Diop? Up there with Robert!! I can think of many worse for us in the Prem.....most of Perrin's other signings for starters!

trust me mate, that was tame on the harsh scale... i know that he doesnt like the fella at all, so i was surprised that he was so restrained tbh!

diop has not been bad for us. he just hasn't been anything special, and when he is in a team rs who can all do something special, it doesnt make him look great. but sometimes you just need a "grafter"...

finnan is a right back, but maybe he would play on the left(MEH) Bullard is a good call though
