The Daily Mail says that for some reason we are on the lookout for a new keeper, with Espanyol's £5m rated Carlos Kameni being lined up - Villa are also 'said' to be interested... Quite why we would be looking for a keeper is anybodies guess when we clearly need other areas looking at more, so nothing doing at all here methinks!
It had been confirmed by Roy Keane yesterday that Younes Kaboul would not be going to Sunderland, with the players agent again saying that Pompey was the move he wanted and a variety of papers say this will happen - until it does I will believe nothing...
Another snippet from The Daily Mail says that Blackburn target Jermaine Pennant could also become subject of the now famous 'late approach from Pompey'. With a move for Shaun Wright-Phillips now looking unlikely a fee of around the £5m mark could claim the Liverpool wingers signature...
'Reports' in the East Anglian Daily Times are saying that Ipswich are again looking at Dave Nugent, and with the number of strikers we have on our books we would be willing to cash in - if he would agree to a wage cut and a drop back down the Divisions... Rumours of a move away from Pompey for the striker have been quiet for a while so I guess it's about time they resurfaced!
And last, but by no means least the most 'ridiculous' claim of the day comes from The Mirror, with it reported that CSKA Moscow are lining up Harry Redknapp as their next manager... I think we can safely say that if he would not give up his Sandbanks homes or move away from his family for the Barcodes earlier in the year he will most definitely not be giving this up to go to Russia!
So there we have it guys, a pretty eventful day with some 'interesting' news - but what do we think of it? As always thoughts below...

tbh lennon needs some work done, but you dont lose the potential that he had overnight, so i like that call sneakay and do not think he would break the bank... much, much better option than pennant, and in all honesty not much between him and SWP as both need work, yet lennon would be a damn site cheaper! you would think...
