Harry Redknapp claims that he does not know if the money from the Sulley Muntari deal will be given back to him to reinvest in further signings - surely this is mind games from Redknapp?
I find it hard to believe that we would have sold Muntari had we not had plans lined up for others, or done so on the understanding that the money generated would be allowed to be re-used to sign the further 3 players that Redknapp feels he requires - a left back, central defender and right winger.
We do have a new training ground to pay for as well, but I would hope that players are not being sold to pay for this, as what good would a brand spanking new facility do us if we are not able to sustain our league placing, ideally improve upon it, therefore being the kind of club that deserves such facilities...
As I have said, maybe the selling of Muntari will come back to haunt us, but so long as this money in reinvested into buying the quality players that we want I feel myself that this was the right thing to do - if it is not given back to buy players then we would have made a mistake in selling!
This time of year managers put their poker faces on - its all cloak and dagger stuff - Redknapp seems to have the same one all the time before pulling something out of the fire, sadly his poker face is not very good anymore as he is not very good at bluffing... at least I hope not as I would be horrified if despite all the talk, we did not walk the walk and reinvest that money into making us even stronger...

at the end of the day i do not think it is fair to say that sasha is 'full of unforfilled promises' as what has he promised that has not been delivered, tbh what has he promised at all...
i do think it best that we stop airing things in public tho, as its not helping the club, its unsettling the fans and is making what is becoming a very professionally organised and run club look far from it...
