Dorchester 1-1 Pompey

Dorchester 1-1 Pompey

As well as facing Bournemouth last night - which was the main focus admittedly in a game that Pompey won 4-1 - we also sent a team to face Dorchester.

That game ended in a 1-1 draw, with this being the match report from the Pompey Site...

==========

DORCHESTER 1 POMPEY 1

It was a mix of youth and experience in the Pompey team that travelled west for a pre-season friendly against Shaun Brookes' Dorchester.

David James, Linvoy Primus, Djimi Traore, Richard Hughes, Sean Davis and Ben Sahar were among those who started at the Jewson Stadium, lining up alongside some potential stars of the future.

And Pompey came away from Dorchester with a 1-1 draw.

The Blues took the lead on 53 minutes when Benjamin Marsh-Brown netted an own goal.

However, the hosts drew level with just eight minutes to go through an Ivan Forbes effort.

Pompey: James, Primus, Traore, Cranie, Reynolds, Cowan-Hall, Hughes, Davis, Mvuemba, Sahar, OJ

Subs: O'Brien, Hurst, Blackman, Pack

As I went to the Bournemouth game, it was a shame not to see Linvoy. I see this match with Dorchester as the culling team. Other than Jamo, how many will HR lose in one form or another?
